How the S3E™ System Works

When the guest enters the room, the S3E™ begins to chime, reminding the guest to insert the door key card. When the key card is entered two things happen:

• The S3E™ notifies, in real time, the database station that the room has been entered. Date and time of entry are recorded, and the base station protocol awaits an entry report.
• Card verification takes place in real time, notifying the database station with its entry report. The S3E™ Smart Logic confirms authorized or unauthorized protocol. This can be authorized for guest, housekeeping and management. An unauthorized report would notify security or management of a breach in security.

This card verification also allows full normal control of electrical appliances, heating and air conditioning by the guests or occupants, while they are in the rooms.

 

When the guest exits the room, and takes the key card:

• The S3E™ notifies, in real time, the base station that the guest, housekeeping or management has left the room, and the security system is activated. The date and time of exit are recorded, and can be transferred to the housekeeping department, maintenance or management.
• The S3E™ Smart Logic System recognizes the removal of the key card, and wireless communication will turn off appliances such as television, and sets the heating and air conditioning to energy saving cycles.

 

The S3E™ Smart Logic System is a completely programmable for a variety of functions. Hotel owners and managers may want certain functions removed or other features added, which may be easily programmed into the system. There are no additional components to purchase to expand the system capabilites.
